The Beginners Course – Yoga in Rozelle

Try our beginners course. The health benefits of doing Yoga regularly are well known and most people feel those benefits almost immediately.

One of the aims of yoga is to bring our body and mind more into our awareness and to help us slow the mind down and forget the busy-ness of our lives. To tune in to what we’re actually feeling and the state of our selves. Doing the asana or poses gives your mind a way of feeling the body; and that gives the mind a rest from its usual thinking patterns and it has opportunity to slow down and breathe.

Our Beginners Course and the Yoga Basics classes introduce you to the basics of yoga including standing poses, arm extensions and weight-bearing, back and shoulder opening, forward bending and really relaxing. It’s fun!

You’ll work to your capacity and use props as needed to help you access the poses safely and to assist you to progress through the asana.
